Ovidiu Micșa is an architect and photographer, holding a PhD in architecture with the thesis “Studies on the Perception of Built Space. Photography as a Tool for the Mental Representation of Architecture.” He is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning in Timișoara. As an architectural photographer featured in the album “12 Architectural Photographers from Romania”, he has built a vast portfolio of documented projects and commercial photography. He is also involved in various cultural and heritage-related initiatives, such as being co-author of Mina de Idei Anina (winner of the National Architecture Biennale Award, 2018). Beyond architectural photography, his personal projects explore analog and alternative photography techniques, and he regularly leads workshops on these topics.
