Architecture is, without any doubt, linked to photography, and my passion for the latter has gradually grown, becoming a common means of capturing the unusual and various places discovered through many journeys. Active in both professional practice and education, the built space is a major subject of my own photographs, through its variety and quality. Any trip – shorter (a scientific conference, a trade fair, a sports competition) or longer (a winter or summer vacation, a student traineeship, a world exhibition) – to a new location represents for me an opportunity to encounter architecture from other areas or cultures, immortalizing both constructive innovations and traditional techniques.

Usually, a green roof has a substantial thickness, given by multiple factors. The roof of the large ring at Expo 2025 Osaka was, like the entire construction, something temporary. But, with its minimalist structure and low weight, it showed that it can be done differently.
