Text presentation of the author in English

Architecture is, without any doubt, linked to photography, and my passion for the latter has gradually grown, becoming a common means of capturing the unusual and various places discovered through many journeys. Active in both professional practice and education, the built space is a major subject of my own photographs, through its variety and quality. Any trip – shorter (a scientific conference, a trade fair, a sports competition) or longer (a winter or summer vacation, a student traineeship, a world exhibition) – to a new location represents for me an opportunity to encounter architecture from other areas or cultures, immortalizing both constructive innovations and traditional techniques.

Project description in English.

The multi-coloured beach huts of Dunkirk are a visible landmark along the historic urban front on the North Sea, both from land and water. The possibility of renting them temporarily for a holiday or short vacation makes them very popular and functional at the same time for many people. It is a different way of managing the beach, totally opposite to the crowding and density of the Mediterranean countries.
