Text presentation of the author in English
Architecture is, without any doubt, linked to photography, and my passion for the latter has gradually grown, becoming a common means of capturing the unusual and various places discovered through many journeys. Active in both professional practice and education, the built space is a major subject of my own photographs, through its variety and quality. Any trip – shorter (a scientific conference, a trade fair, a sports competition) or longer (a winter or summer vacation, a student traineeship, a world exhibition) – to a new location represents for me an opportunity to encounter architecture from other areas or cultures, immortalizing both constructive innovations and traditional techniques.
Project description in English.
An interwar hotel, famous for its possible Nazi connections, has become a museum of national interest, but it has been left in a state of decay. The concrete structure is the best preserved, but the brickwork and partial wooden windows frames seem to defy gravity, with the biggest gaps actually being at ground level, appearing somehow suspended from above.
