Text presentation of the author in English

I studied Physics at the West University of Timișoara and have worked as an engineer for over 15 years. Beyond that, I've always been creative: music production, photography, design. I tend to notice things. And in my spare time, I try to turn the observations into images, into music. I’m especially drawn to the story behind a frame, what happened before and after it.

Project description in English.

Breb, Maramureș, has functioned for years as an open-air museum: traditional wooden houses, carved gates. Some houses were bought and restored specifically for this. I met in the village, "one of the last farmers who kept buffalos." He invited me into his home and told me about his life. I don't think he became part of the museum by choice. His house stayed unchanged because he stayed unchanged, not because he wanted to show anything. And any practical modernization of the space he lives in (not a restoration): a new roof, running water, better heating, would lessen the interest in tradition this space now holds. If the space he lives in gets better, the museum loses some of its exhibits.
