Project description in English
The Curatorial Residence explores the dialogue between interior design and contemporary art, with the residential space becoming a setting for the exhibition of works by several artists. The interior balances everyday comfort, cultural identity, and the aesthetic values of the inhabitants, using natural materials, warm textures, and carefully selected art and design objects. The ground floor includes the child’s bedroom, the father’s office, and a room dedicated to relaxation. The resulting atmosphere is one of intimacy and calm, with each space tailored to the users’ needs through its color palette and custom-designed furniture. The selected contemporary artists are Rebeca Ulici, Radu Pandele, Matei Păcurar, and Laurian Popa, whose works bring abstract, geometric, and expressive elements into the space. The open-plan layout of the upper floor, contemporary furniture, and refined finishes create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging interaction and appreciation of the artworks on display.
