Architecture is, without any doubt, linked to photography, and my passion for the latter has gradually grown, becoming a common means of capturing the unusual and various places discovered through many journeys. Active in both professional practice and education, the built space is a major subject of my own photographs, through its variety and quality. Any trip – shorter (a scientific conference, a trade fair, a sports competition) or longer (a winter or summer vacation, a student traineeship, a world exhibition) – to a new location represents for me an opportunity to encounter architecture from other areas or cultures, immortalizing both constructive innovations and traditional techniques.

In a country with numerous earthquakes every day, buildings have between them the minimum necessary distance to allow independent movements of each in the event of a quake. Taking into account the high density of constructions, the walls of these structural joints with less than 1 meter there have openings for ventilation, light or even balconies.
