BRICK BOND - Grădiniță cu Centru Comunitar în Fratelia

I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism in Timișoara. I am currently working at Parasite Studio, where I contribute to the development of architectural projects while continuing to grow professionally in a creative environment.

Brick Bond rebuilds the communal spirit of Fratelia through an intervention rooted in local memory. Reclaimed brick, vernacular elements, and open interior spaces shape a new gathering center where past, present, and future are seamlessly connected through architecture. The Brick Bond project addresses the loss of identity and community spirit in Fratelia, Timișoara. The concept centers on the street as a protected interior space that unites people. Local elements such as the window, bench, and front door are highlighted, while reclaimed bricks from the former cultural center form a symbolic wall of continuity. A rotated volume housing the library and multifunctional space marks the neighborhood’s history. The simple white interior offers children freedom to express themselves, with color accentuating key elements and creating identity for each “little house.”
