Project description in English
Utilizing cast concrete blocks that mimic standard pavement units transforms overlooked, utilitarian elements into expressive objects that reveal hidden potential. By contrasting their hard, familiar exterior with an illuminated inner life, the approach challenges perceptions of value, elegance, and identity in ordinary structures. The intervention shifts pavement blocks from anonymous infrastructure into vessels of meaning, while preserving traces of their urban history and collective use. Ultimately, it demonstrates that poetic and emotional depth can emerge from the simplest materials when they are recontextualized with intention.
